It seems that the women's golfing world is not just dominated by beautiful, young women but also women aged between 20 and 30. Lexi Thompson was one of those women. When she considers her age she wonders why her professional career has been so successful. Did she play golf from the womb or was there a reason that made her good? Lexi Thompson - one of America's top golfers - is what we'll be discussing. The famous golfer was born in Coral Springs of Florida, United States of America on the 10th of the month of February, 1995. Alexis Thompson was her birth name. Scott Thompson's father and Amanda Thompson's fathers are Scott Thompson. She is American by nationality as well as of white heritage. Her golfing talents can be traced back to her father who was a former golfer. He began playing golf at an early age. He later became coach once he stopped playing. Two of Lexi's brothers who will be mentioned have professional golfers. Lexis received her education in her home during her time of high school. In September 2012, Lexis was admitted at Louisiana State University in order to receive a bachelor's level degree. The student must have graduated in the near future, however, the degree she received at her school remains undetermined. Lexis likely wasn't a newbie being born into a family full of golfers. In her early years, she began playing golf, and at age 12, became the first woman in history to be qualified to compete in the US Women's Open. Although she didn't win however, in 2007, she took home the Aldila Junior Classic and became the second. As well as becoming one of the youngest American Junior Golf Association, (AJGA) winner of the championship in the year she was born, she was also the youngest player to take home the Westfield Junior PGA Championship.
