Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey began when she was 14 years old. She trained in boxing kickboxing wrestling, BJJ, and other sports before making her amateur debut at age 18 in WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd kept building on the victory she scored in Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She knocked out all her competitors in the initial round. Ladd returned to WCFC and beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia was superior to Aspen who beat her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's record as an amateur was marred. Ladd rebounded from the loss to defeat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to 8-1. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in the year 2015. She signed up with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta 11, she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal to score one of the fight's TKOs in the initial round. Invicta 16 saw her rise to the weight class of Bantamweight following the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen's superior wrestling skill defeated McGill as she was able to end her fight in the third round with a TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen was then in a fight with Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 in catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd did not have enough weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to outclass Hoy. Aspen won her fight through a TKO during the second round. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her final match for the company. The winner was Sijara Ebanks with a majority decision. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut was at UFC Fight Night 118 where she fought Lina Lansberg. She beat Lina by a ground and pound victory during her second fight. Then, in her third fight she defeated Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd beat Evinger in just the first minute she was awarded a bonus to commemorate her performance of the night. Her first major fight came in her next fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. Both fighters put up a back-and-forth encounter that ended with Ladd beating her opponent by a unanimous vote and both fighters earning their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd in 16-seconds to break her streak of winning. in the 3rd round on UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. In her recent fight for the UFC she faced Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a substitute fight. The UFC Fight Night 195 fight was decided unanimously in her favor.
